From My Heart,
I’m Myvizhi Selvi. I used to work in the IT sector, with busy days and a busy mind. My own pregnancy was a beautifully guided journey, full of warmth and care. But my postpartum days were not what I had imagined. I often felt lost, tired, and alone. The lack of real support and understanding during that time stayed with me deeply.
Which made me feel a pull toward something different, so I left my job to follow that feeling. I became a Certified Childbirth Educator and Yoga Instructor, not because I had all the answers, but because I wanted to learn how to really be there for women, for mothers, and for the strength we all carry.
I come from a small village in Erode, Tamil Nadu. I’ve seen how rural women often feel unheard during pregnancy and birth. Eetrarai was created from that feeling, to make a space where women feel seen, supported, and safe. It’s about listening and being there for someone, saying, “You are not alone.”
Eetrarai is my way of making room for all the feelings we sometimes can’t express, fear, strength, joy, pain, and the beauty of becoming who we are.
